Andrew Crosthwaite
Andrew has over 25 years experience in advertising and communication. After a career in both account management and planning he became Head of Planning at Euro RSCG before starting his own strategic consultancy, Core Values and is also partner in GIN – a global company specialising in scenario based innovation.

He ran workshops on Advertising Effectiveness for ISBA for a number of years and has written award winning papers for both the IPA Effectiveness Awards and the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards. In 2009 he chaired the Measuring Advertising Performance conference as well as being a judge of the IPA Effectiveness Awards. He is a Fellow of the IPA.

Mark Finney

Mark is a leading marketing communications strategist and planner with 20+ years experience with expertise in marketing planning and media and marketing efficiency.  He has held board level positions within agencies (CIA, MPG, Carat), has line experience with a major Global brand (Orange - head of Media and Planning) and is currently a partner with HotHouse, a successful marketing consultancy based in Geneva working on HSBC, Medco, FAF (part of US Bank) and Celgene.

Mark has a wealth of international experience having planned and managed European and Global campaigns since 1990 and his blue chip client experience includes: Nike, Microsoft, Shell, Novartis, Intel, GSK, Hitachi, Philips and Orange.

He is highly experienced in the field of marketing effectiveness having managed econometric modelling projects for a number of major brands including Shell, Novartis and Orange.

Mark has an all round knowledge of media communications from traditional media (TV, print, outdoor) to online and experiential and is renowned for his innovative approach to planning. He has worked as an independent media communications consultant for such brands as FedEx, Tetley, Unilever and Hitachi.

Mark is widely published in marketing advertising journals and books and has been the recipient of numerous marketing awards, including two prestigious IPA Awards.

Mark Palmer
Prior to running his own consultancy, Mark was Executive Head of Strategy at some of the most thoughtful, creative and award winning agencies (OMD, BMP, WCRS, Bates).

He pioneered new approaches and capabilities in each in research, branded content, product placement and digital. He has been the lead strategist both in the UK and Internationally on clients like Orange, Sony, Vodafone, BMW, PepsiCo, Fox and Channel 4.  He has personally won both the IPA and Media Week Grand Prix.  The clients he has worked with, and the planning functions he has led, have won in excess of 70 awards, including 5 Grand Prix.

Before entering the advertising industry, Mark ran a NPD research consultancy in Newcastle, where he moderated creative and concept development for clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Courtaulds, Scottish and Newcastle and British Film Year.
